Every year, Olivia travelers bring their joy, curiosity, and love of community to places that welcome us with open arms. Through Olivia Gives Back, we return that love: uplifting women and girls whose lives transform when opportunity meets support. Our philosophy? Where we go, we give.
This Giving Tuesday, we spotlighted and supported three remarkable organizations in Nepal, Morocco, and Tanzania. Each works at the intersection of education, safety, and economic opportunity for women and girls, and show just how far a single gift can go. To deepen that impact, Olivia pledged to match your tax-deductible gifts up to a total of $15,000. We're happy to report that we reached that matching goal, and between your donations and Olivia's match we created a fundraiser that raised over $34,000 for these worthy causes.
Giving Tuesday may be over, but our commitment to support these three incredible organizations continues into 2026. If you are able, please join us, as the need is great, and the impact of your generosity is beautiful.
Olivia has a long and deeply meaningful history of supporting the Nepal Youth Foundation, especially through the transformational Freed Kamlari program, a national initiative that ended indentured servitude of young girls and helped thousands reclaim their freedom. The Olivia community stood with NYF through that work, and our shared impact continues today through vocational training, counseling, and entrepreneurship programs.
An inspiring example of what opportunity can spark is Shital. She enrolled in NYF’s electrical training program as the only woman in a class of 23. She completed her certification, worked in construction in Kathmandu, and now teaches at NYF’s vocational school, empowering young women and men from backgrounds just like hers.
For the past two years, Olivia has proudly supported Hope for Girls & Women Tanzania, which provides safe houses for girls escaping violence, forced marriage, and FGM. Across Tanzania, the threat of FGM forces many girls to make heartbreaking choices about their safety and their futures. Hope for Girls & Women Tanzania is there in those critical moments, offering refuge, protection, trauma counseling, education, and legal support to girls and women escaping immediate danger.
One of those girls is Rebecca, disowned by her family for bravely refusing to undergo FGM, and forced to flee her home. A woman found her and led her to the safe house, “It wasn’t a grand building; it was a sanctuary where the silence was a promise of peace, not a threat… Education was my weapon, my defense, and my path to a more just world.”
In Morocco’s rural regions, secondary school can be miles away, too far to reach each day safely. Education for All Morocco (EFA) bridges that gap by providing safe boarding houses, academic support, healthy meals, and a stable environment where girls can study and thrive.
This year, scholarship recipient Safa shared her story: “I am currently pursuing a degree in Digital Engineering… My aim is to advance in my career and contribute significantly to my community… I am deeply grateful to Education for All Morocco and its donors for providing me with life-changing opportunities.”
All contributions are tax-deductible and fuel meaningful change for women and girls.
